Ooredoo Service: Power PLAY

RECITAL

Power Play is an end-to-end E-Sports platform. Users can Subscribe & join the platform to play Daily Scrims & Weekly Tournaments. The contests will run for four months, after which a new contest will start automatically. The highest point user will win the prize. The winning prize pool for the contest period is QR15,000.

TIMWE SGPS SA, with trade and its registered office at Barwa Alsadd, Suhaim Bin Hamad Avenue, Arafat Business Center, Doha, Qatar, shall provide CP’s “Power PLAY” (Powered by PeerLinear Technologies ltd).” game to Ooredoo’s customers. This subscription service is available through a Web Application, and subscribers will have access to various games available on the Web App.

General Terms & Conditions:

  1. Eligibility

    All natural persons residing in Qatar on a permanent basis, who are at least eighteen (18) years old and are Ooredoo subscribers (either by contract or prepaid service) excluding Ooredoo employees and their families. Ooredoo reserves the right to disqualify ineligible winners, can use this subscription service. Ooredoo considers each participant as the legal owner of the SIM card used to access the service. Otherwise, the participant is liable to Ooredoo or the SIM card owner. Ooredoo and TIMWE will not be responsible for any use by individuals who do not meet this age criterion. CP shall ensure that Power PLAY is accessible only to those who confirm they meet the age requirement. Participants in the contest must have a valid Ooredoo Mobile Money account to be entitled to receive the prize money of the games.

  2. USE OF THE SERVICE

    To register for the Service, an Ooredoo customer can send the keyword <PP> or <Sub PP> or <pp> or <Pp> to <92589> for free. Customers can also subscribe through the Web & App with their mobile number and OTP registration The service is charged at 3 QAR per day for the entire duration of the subscription, and will automatically renew daily until the participant unsubscribes. Participants can unsubscribe at any time by sending the keyword ‘UNSUB’ to 92589. After registering, participants will receive an SMS with information and Web Link URL. Customers can click on the URL to access the service. They can participate in contests and tournaments arranged by the platform, earning XP Points for daily login, joining, or winning contests or tournaments. Participants who will collect the highest XP points at the end of the Tournament will be eligible to win.

  3. DURATION OF THE CONTEST

    • The contests will run for four months, after which a new contest will start automatically. The first contest will start from ... and run until.

  4. RULES OF THE PROMOTIONAL GAME "Power PLAY"

    To promote the Subscription Service, Ooredoo, also called “The Organizer”, will run a contest called “Power PLAY”. Daily contests and tournaments will be arranged for subscribed and paying customers.

    1. Acceptance of Terms of Use and Registration
      1. How to participate in “Power PLAY” and the game mechanics:
        • Register by sending the keyword <PP> (or variations thereof) to <92589> or access the ‘Power PLAY’ URL http://<powerplayoqportal@peerlinear.tech> and follow the instructions. The service costs 3 QAR per day with Auto-Renewal.
        • Receive a welcome message with the Web App APK. Download and install the app.
        • After registering, customers can play different games on the Portal, earning XP Points for daily login, joining, and winning contests and tournaments. Points are recorded on the Leaderboard.
        • Subscribe to the service to join and win contests. Checking daily XP Points and standings is available on the Web App.
        • Customers can play UNO, Free Fire, Mario Kart, PUBG, and Clash Royale, with specific level requirements for each game which is as below:
          • UNO: None
          • Mario Kart: None
          • Clash Royale: King Level 8
          • PUBG: Level 1
          • Free Fire: Level 1
      2. Participants register for the Promotional Game and confirm their complete acceptance and full understanding of these Terms and Conditions, agreeing to:
        1. Receive SMS communication from Ooredoo regarding the Power PLAY Promotional Game.
        2. Unless you request to opt-out, receive SMS communication/advertising offers from Ooredoo for its services during and after the Promotional Game.
        3. Be included in the Opt-in program and communities created by Ooredoo with the data gathered during and after the Promotional Game.
      3. Ooredoo reserves the right to cancel or amend the offer and these Terms and Conditions at any time after the ministry's approval.
      4. In case of any dispute regarding the Terms and Conditions, conduct, results, and all other matters related to the Promotional Game, Ooredoo’s decision will be binding and final.
      5. This T&Cs will remain in full force while Ooredoo provides the offer, excluding temporary suspensions for operational reasons.
    2. Availability and accessibility of information and Drop-out mechanism
      1. All information about the Promotional Game will be published in the TNC Section.
      2. Information about the number of points scored by participants will be sent automatically via SMS from Ooredoo.
      3. Participants can drop out of the Promotional Game by sending “STOP” or “إيقاف” to the Short Code 92589 for free. If they later send the opt-in keyword again, they will rejoin the game.
      4. If the Promotional Game is terminated, Ooredoo will publish a termination message on the official resources of the game.
      5. Interruption or early termination of the game by Ooredoo or Partners does not release Ooredoo/Partner from its obligation to award already earned prizes.
      6. By participating, entrants declare that all submitted information is true, current, and complete.
      7. Ooredoo reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches the Terms and Conditions or engages in any form of cheating, including the use of bots or unauthorized software Ooredoo will provide an explanation for the disqualification upon request. Customers may contact Ooredoo for further clarification.
  5. PRIZES
    • There will be cash prize pool of QAR 15,000, distributed among winners as per the contest structure.
    • Legal owners of the Ooredoo SIM cards used for participation will be considered winners. The SIM holder should have the following:
      • a valid QID card;
      • SIM card used to participate.
    • The contest runs for four months, with the process of identifying top scorers conducted at Ooredoo's premises or another location of their choice.
      Terms of the prizes:
      • Ooredoo will contact winners for five business days, calling their subscriber number five times a day. If the winner cannot be contacted, Ooredoo will contact a substitute winner.
      • Winners must provide the following documentation within 7 business days from receiving our call/message for above 5000 QAR prize money. This prize can be transferred whether through online banking transfer or Ooredoo Money Wallet. If the user fails to share the required documents, the 2nd in-line winner will be approached for the prizes
        • Duly filled and signed Ooredoo format prize letter with all the required information.
      • If the user wins prize of value below 5000 QAR, the winning amount will be transferred through Ooredoo Money Wallet. PFB valid documents required
        • Valid Ooredoo Money Wallet.
        • SIM card used to participate
      • If the winner fails to provide the required documents within seven (7) business days or rejects the prize, Ooredoo will contact a substitute winner.
      • Winners must sign a Prize Acceptance document upon confirmation.
      • All winners will be notified on how to receive their prizes within five business days from the last day of the Promotional Game.
      • Prizes will be awarded within 90 days after the last day of the Promotional Game. If a certified winner fails to collect the prize within 7 days, the next in line winner will be contacted and asked to collect the prize within 7 days, if the 2nd in line winner fails to comply with in 7 days, the 3rd winner in line will be reached our in similar rules and if the 3rd fails to comply. the prize will revert to Ooredoo.
      • Prizes may be received by a representative with an authorization letter signed by the winner and QID or Resident ID.
      • If the winning number is corporate, the winner must present authorization from the company. Without it, the prize will revert to Ooredoo.
      • Ooredoo’s decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are non-transferable.
      • Prize details will be published on https://qa.duelapp.com.
  6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
    1. Ooredoo shall not be liable for any Unauthorized access to accounts or data breaches, any losses or damages resulting from participation in the contest, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or any other indirect loss arising out of or in connection with the use of the service.
    2. Ooredoo will be responsible for technical issues that may substantially affect the participation to the tournament: its liability will, however, not exceed 50% of the total amount paid by the customer to Ooredoo in the last four months for the tournament.

    3. Ooredoo and partners shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this T&Cs, including but not limited to providing access to the online game, if such failure or delay is due circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government orders or regulations, war, pandemics, cyber-attack, labor disputes, or any disruption or termination of online services by third-party providers (“Force Majeure Event”).

      In the event of Force Majeure Event, Ooredoo & Partners reserves the right to modify, suspend, or termination the online game, either temporarily or permanently, without any liability to the users. Ooredoo & Partners will use reasonable efforts to notify users of such actions as soon as practicable. No refunds, compensation, or other remedies shall be provided due to interruption, suspension, or terminations caused by Force Majeure Event.

    4. By entering, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, and participants shall be liable to ensure that they comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.

  9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

    The total content of the Service and the website is protected by intellectual property rights that belong exclusively to Ooredoo or its suppliers and is protected by Qatar Legislation. This content solely for personal, non-commercial use. Any commercial use of the content is prohibited without prior written consent of Ooredoo. All rights reserved by Ooredoo.

    By participating in the contest, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. The platform reserves the right to amend these terms at any time with prior notice to the participants. Following any amendments, participants will have the option to withdraw from the contest and will not be liable for any future fees.
